I am currently undergoing a background check for a new job opportunity. During the process, I realized that I only listed my internship experience, which lasted four months. However, after the internship, I received an extended offer for a part-time position with no fixed hours, and I have been working there since. I didn't include this part-time role on the background check because I wasn't sure if it counted as a continuation of my internship.
