Personally, I believe we are in a recession, largely due to corporations offshoring jobs and the rise of AI. It seems like companies have realized they can easily replace domestic workers with those from countries like India or Eastern Europe, especially since remote work has become the norm. Additionally, I want to hear from those who have faced redundancy. If you’ve been laid off, how long have you been out of work? What are your plans as we approach 2027? I haven’t been laid off yet, but I’m preparing for the possibility. I made some money during the COVID era through meme coins and the stock market, which allowed me to purchase a triple-decker property. I’m currently renting out two floors to cover my mortgage and utilities, but I’m still anxious about the future.
