Now, I’m feeling anxious because they will be verifying my education, and I worry they might think I’m lying based on my resume. The offer I received states that it’s conditional based on their satisfaction with the background check and conflict of interest check, but it doesn’t explicitly say I have to pass it. I have to give notice at my current job on Monday, and I'm really worried that if they find out about my education situation, they might rescind the offer after I quit my current job. I’ve been advised to wait until the pre-employment checks are cleared before giving notice, but I’m feeling a lot of pressure. I hope everything turns out okay.
