    Applied to a Job Feeling Planning

    I recently faced a challenging situation during my job search. I received a job offer, but it was put on the line due to a failed background check related to employment verification. I mistakenly provided the wrong date for a previous job, and now I'm feeling really down about it. I'm trying to stay positive and have been advised to check my records for the correct dates. I plan to reach out to the recruiter or HR with a short correction and provide any documentation they might need. While I wait for their review, I'm also going to keep applying for other positions so that I don't rely solely on this one opportunity.

    Feeling Got a Job Thinking

    I recently went through a lengthy interview process for an R&D Technician position at a company. I completed six interviews in total—three on-site and three virtual, which included two with HR representatives. After about two to three weeks of waiting, I received a verbal offer from the Head of HR, along with a start date. She mentioned that they were just waiting for the CEO to sign the offer letter. However, a week has passed and I still haven't received the official offer letter. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.
