  1. 1

I'm currently weighing the decision of whether to return to my previous job as a marketing assistant at a small firm where I had a generally positive experience. My managers were supportive, and I had a good rapport with my coworkers, especially one who is encouraging me to come back. However, there's a significant concern that I can't overlook. During my last tenure, I faced harassment from a coworker who is the owner's son. He made several inappropriate and predatory comments about my personal life, including a particularly graphic remark about 'making midget porn.' At the time, I was too shy and embarrassed to report it, which ultimately led me to leave the job. Now, as I consider returning for the income, I'm terrified of encountering him again and whether the same toxic environment would still be present. I'm struggling with whether this situation is serious enough to warrant not returning or if I'm overreacting. I tend to be quiet and reserved at work, making it even harder for me to think about addressing this issue without feeling like I'm causing drama. Should I continue my job search or take the risk and go back?
