I've been on the job hunt since February and honestly, I'm feeling pretty defeated. I've applied to what feels like thousands of positions, but I've only managed to land three interviews, and I received a rejection from one of those. It's been tough, especially since I'm a full-time student and have resorted to applying for minimum wage jobs like McDonald's just to make ends meet. I've printed about 300 resumes and spent days driving around, handing them out, but now I'm out of options. It feels like nothing is showing up on job boards like Indeed anymore. Since February, I've had $0 income, and I'm at a loss for what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I started a new job today after searching for a couple of months, but it hasn't been a great experience so far. During my three interviews, I asked about the pay, but they never provided a clear answer. Today, I spent six hours on my first day looking for something to do, but everyone kept insisting on doing things for me instead. I didn't make any tips, which left me feeling pretty down. When I left, I finally asked how much I was being paid, but my trainer said they weren't allowed to tell me. They also didn't inform me about my next shift, so I'm really uncertain about my future here. It feels really strange to start a job without knowing the pay.
